Portland-based Vista Capital Partners names new CEO


$2.5 billion Vista Capital Partners has a new CEO in Dougal Williams, a veteran of the Portland-based firm since 2004.

Williams is succeeding previous CEO Doug Johanson, who is taking over as chairman of the firm's board of directors. Williams was previously Vista's chief wealth officer and principal advisor, working with individual, corporate and nonprofit clients. He will continue to lead the firm's wealth committee in addition to his new role.

“Dougal's collective experience at Vista—as counsel, principal advisor, chief investment officer and chief wealth officer—makes him uniquely qualified to lead Vista as we strive to become Oregon's most admired asset management firm. wealth,” Johanson said.

Founded in 2001, Vista works with clients who have $2 million or more to invest. The firm has 35 employees and works with nearly 600 clients, providing investment management and financial and estate planning.
