The singer-songwriter took to Instagram after Tuesday night's presidential debate endorsing Kamala Harris for President and calling out deepfakes AND misinformation online.
“I recently became aware that the artificial intelligence of 'me' falsely endorsing the presidential candidacy of Donald Trump was posted on his page,” the post read. “It really raised my fears about AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation.”
“The simplest way to fight misinformation is with the truth,” she added. I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.
She captioned the post, “Childless Cat Lady,” a direct dig at Trump's wife, JD Vance, and used a photo from her iconic TIME 2023 magazine. Person of the Year feature, where she was holding her cat around her neck.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk has responded news about Xwriting, “Fine Taylor … you win … I'll give you a baby and guard your cats with my life.” It's not the first time Musk has tried to engage with Swift complimented her latest album– but the superstar has not responded publicly.
