A recent report from USA Today reveals that Swift has stepped in for almost half of her shows on the European leg of her Eras tour, a stark contrast to her US tour last year, which saw only one interruption.

At the heart of the issue are unscheduled seating arrangements in Europe's major stadiums, which, while reducing ticket costs, have compromised fans' comfort, safety and access to facilities such as toilets and concessions. And so, when Taylor sees something, she routinely calls for security. At a recent show in Scotland, Swift saw a fan in distress and informed security. She sang, “I'm just gonna keep playing until somebody notices,” and kept strumming her guitar until help arrived.
This unassigned seating arrangement was also in place during the concert in Rio de Janeiro, where the intense heat led to the tragic death of a fan due to heat exhaustion. During that grueling three-hour show, Swift took it upon herself to hand out water to her fans, and since that tragedy, she's been quick to call trouble.
