You have to be 21 to legally drink alcohol in the US, but if you're looking to get into a certain bar in Ohio, you may have to wait another nine years.
Donerick's Pub Groveport, located just outside of Columbus, Ohio, is going viral after posting a notice on its official Facebook page stating that Friday and Saturday nights are only for patrons age 30 and older.

There is also a cash-only cover charge of $5 from 10pm to midnight and then $10 from midnight to 1:15am.
The bar's official Facebook account revealed in the comments section of the post that the reason for the new restrictions were “security purposes”. The decision came just days after a video was released posted on Instagram showing a three-way fight outside the bar.
“The amount of customers we have gained during the weekends has made us have to make adjustments for security purposes,” the comment states. “Keeping our customers safe is our top priority!”
The post, which has received over 739 shares and 301 reactions, is getting mixed responses from patrons and bar hopefuls.

“I understand an age restriction, but charging a cover in addition to the increased age criteria without any kind of live entertainment is absurd,” one person wrote.
“It's crazy how much has changed in the last year,” countered another. “30+ is definitely going in the right direction!”
Donerick's Pub Groveport did not immediately respond The entrepreneurRequest for comment.
