Karlie Kloss, founder of Code with Klossy AND 40 times Vogue cover model and husband Joshua Kushner, managing partner of venture capital firm Thrive Global, are joining forces to revive Life magazine about 16 years after the last issue was printed.
Kloss is CEO of Bedford Media, a new media company that will assume responsibility for operations for the new Life magazineincluding revenue and editorial strategy, according to a Press conference released on Thursday.

Kushner will take on the role of publisher of the new Life magazine.

The magazine will return in both print and digital form, with a representative from Bedford Media telling us about it Los Angeles Times that the publication will “most likely” reopen as a quarterly, scheduled for early 2025.
Bedford Media won iD magazine in November; that publication is scheduled to begin publishing print editions this fall.

Life launched in 1883 and has gained recognition over the years for its photography, including of Alfred Eisenstaed photo of a sailor kissing a nurse in Times Square.
Life it has closed and reopened several times since its founding, with the publication of its last printed edition in 2008.
