These are the 'loneliest' jobs in the US, new report finds


More than four in 10 workers feel “a lot” or “somewhat” lonely at work, according to a recent report from the Employee Listening and Manager Effectiveness Platform Perceptyx.

But remote workwhich more than tripled in the wake of the pandemic from 2019 to 2021, it is not necessarily to blame.

Actually, research suggests that employees who have the opportunity to work remotely are more likely to feel happy and productive in their roles, and a Studying at Harvard found that the jobs in which people felt most unhappy were also among the loneliest jobs.

Of course, positions that require a lot of independent work and little COOPERATION have the potential to be some of the loneliest. So what jobs in the US fall into that category?

Gaming Network Solitaire dug into data from more than 750,000 job site postings to find which job titles and industries are the loneliest on average.

And the loneliest number 1 on the list? These would be the “task associates” who are responsible for stocking the stores.
