Beacon Pointe Advisors adds Ellevest advisor Allison Kvikstad
Beacon Pointe Advisors, a NewPort Beach $ 40 billion, a registered caliph -based investment adviser, has hired former Ellevest Allison Kvikstad as a partner and managing director.
Kvikstad leaves a role that she held for more than six years as a senior private wealth adviser in Ellevest. Before that, she was a senior vice president and investment manager with Wells Fargo.
Kvikstad specializes in the administration of wealth for high -value women, households and private foundations and will participate in the Beacon Pointe Women's Advisory Institute, which seeks to promote financial education and independence for women.

Chris Cook, formerly senior vice president of innovation with Mariner's wealth councilorshas left the firm to start a consultancy Ria Tech.
Cook announced at LinkedIn this week the onset of obydian Technologies, which will help Rias navigate the “complex technology landscape” and give advisers more time to work with clients.
“Thousands of tools there, it's easy to get lost in the noise,” Cook wrote. “We aim to direct this process.”
