The other general B/D in Evolution to Ria

Many multi-generating wealth management businesses evolve from one generation to another, with each generation making its mark and helping to bring the firm to the next higher level.

In this case, Bernie Drucker began in the world of life insurance in 1959, building a practice helping families find financial independence. Bernie's son, Lance, joined him in 1985, integrating investment management into their services. The third generation of Druckers, Gideon, came on board in 2016 after serving as Paratrooper in the Israeli army.

Gideon learned the business of insurance and administration of property from the land up, working with his father and extending the heritage born two generations ago.

Drucker Wealth flourished for over 38 years with independent horror mediator/trader Townsend & Kent (also known as HTK), where they were the largest advisory team for 18 years straight, managing over 700 mm on wealth for their customers.

But just as Lance had helped take the business to the next level when he joined his father, Gideon put his images in creating what he calls “Drucker 3.0”.

It was with the goal that the team left the IBD world to become an independent independent firm Ria.

Gideon now serves as President and CEO of Drucker's wealth management and talks with Mindy Diamond about the evolution of the firm as well as his, including:

  • Growing from one generation to another – and how it motivated them through change.

  • The signs they were overcoming the mediator/trader model – and what inspired them to explore their options.

  • Their transition from HTK and the mediator/world of traders – and what advantages they gained as a firm Ria.

  • Growing up in business – and how his story can provide lessons for older councilors and other general.

  • Switching from the other gene to the leader – and how Gideon had to fit and grow.

  • Plus, Gideon offers the perspective of a self -esteem inner one year inside – and describes what he sees as the next stage of evolution for business.

It is an episode that offers value to those who consider how to create continuity and a legacy, and serves as a growth plan for any other gene or old advisor.
