Starbucks Departures: Eliminate 1100 Corporate Jobs, Open Role

“The leadership team has finished that job, and this week, we will communicate the changes we are making,” Niccol wrote. “This includes the difficult decision to eliminate 1,100 roles of the current support partner and several hundred open and unfulfilled positions.”

Workers who have been fired will be shown from noon Tuesday, February 25, the memorandum says.

The cuts will not affect employees working in Starbucks cafes or in baking, production, storage and distribution compartments.
