For Enterprise and Team users, memory can be useful when using ChatGPT for work. It can learn your style and preferences and build on previous interactions. This saves you time and leads to more relevant and insightful answers. For example:
- ChatGPT can remember your tone, voice, and format settings and automatically apply them to draft blog posts without having to repeat them.
- When coding, you tell ChatGPT your programming language and frameworks. It can remember these settings for subsequent tasks, simplifying the process.
- For monthly business reviews, you securely upload your data to ChatGPT and it creates your desired three-item charts for export.
As with any feature of ChatGPT, you control your organization's data. Memories and any other information about your workspace are excluded from training our models. Users have control over how and when their memories are used in conversations. Additionally, Enterprise account holders can turn off storage for their organization at any time.
Enterprise and Team customers will have access to storage as part of our broader rollout.
