Speaking about his time as a student at Columbia University, Buffett reflected in the influential relationships he falsified with his professors.
“People (who) teach, in general, have a new student who is really interested in the subject, and they will spend extra time with you,” he said. “I was interested in what they were saying, and they found it some kind of entertainment as I was so interested, so I would look around what really fascinates you. I wouldn't try to be anyone else.”
