Activtrak looked at data for about 200,000 employees working in 777 companies, following workplace behaviors from productivity explosions at the time. The data found that productivity has increased by about 2%, and employees tend to work in 24-minute production explosions.

The months with the largest working hours (about nine days on average) were August and December. Mauch pointed to Bloomberg that August was due to a rush of work after the break and December due to the end of the year. February and October, meanwhile, had the shortest length of work day (8 hours and 35 minutes), according to the report.
