After announcing 25% fees for various imports from Canada and Mexico, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum made the last minute agreement with President Trump to postpone the action for 30 days.
As part of the pause, Mexico agreed to take these actions:
- 10,000 Mexico National Guard members will be placed on the US-Mexico border to curb the flow of fentanil and illegal migrants in the United States.
- The formation of two groups with US officials – focused on security and one focused on trade.
Canada agreed to:
- Continue a border plan launched in December that will send Black Hawk helicopters, drone and high -tech security equipment, as well as 10,000 “first -line personnel”.
- Set up a Fentanil Czar and perform $ 200 million Canadian for collecting intelligence on cartels and drug gangs and officially labeling these groups as terrorists.

No deal has been hit with China since Tuesday morning, like A 10% fee for all imports from China takes effect. China announced vengeance fees for US-15% charcoal fee and liquefied natural gas products, as well as a 10% fee for raw oil, agricultural machinery and large-engine cars that would throw into force of the moon.

A White House spokesman said Trump plans to talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping later this week.
