Savvy Advisors, the New York City-based RIA of fintech parent company Savvy Wealth, added four new advisors in late 2024, including individuals from JP Morgan and Merrill Lynch. The additions bring Savvy's total number of advisors to 40 and assets under management to more than $1 billion.
New recruits include female duo Cindy Alvarez and Janelle Van Meel, based in Evergreen and Littleton, Colo., respectively. The two join as wealth management advisors from Wambolt & Associates, an RIA in Littleton.
Erin Niehaus, a 30-year veteran of the wealth management and private equity industries with $150 million in AUM, also joins Savvy from San Francisco. Most recently, she was with JP Morgan Private Bank and serves women executives, healthcare professionals and technology leaders.
Savvy also welcomed Samuel Saleh, a Newport Beach, California-based advisor with $50 million in AUM who was previously with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. It provides retirement, business continuity and succession planning for retirees and business owners.

Savvy Wealth was founded in July 2021 by Malhotra, a technology entrepreneur, with the idea of creating a digital-first platform for financial advisors centered around modernizing human financial advice.
In 2022, the firm raised $11 million in venture capital financing. Last August, the firm completed a $26.5 million Series A funding roundbacked by a $15.5 million funding push led by venture capital firm Canvas Ventures.
The platform is built around a customized dashboard using AI-powered Co-Pilot CRM, live indexing and investment management tools.
Last year, RIA added Loyalty as a guardian supports Schwab and advisors from UBS, Farther, Schwab and Mariner, among others.
