Tesla Cybertruck factory workers told to stay home: Report


Factory workers on the Cybertruck line at Tesla's Austin plant have reportedly been told to take three days off this week starting Tuesday, according to a memo seen for the first time by Business Insider.

“On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week (December 3-5), you do not need to report to work,” the memorandum states.

The memo also reportedly told workers they would be paid for the full day of their shifts if scheduled. The reason for the unexpected days off was not disclosed, and Tesla did not respond to BI's request for comment.
