Communicate Fincentric New COO from InvestCloud


Communify Fincentric, a digital platform created through the recent merger of Communify and Fincentrichas hired Nicole Nakashian, former COO at InvestCloud, as its first COO.

In August, Communify, a company owned by Just Build It, a software investment firm launched earlier this year by InvestCloud founder John Wise, acquired Fincentric, a developer of mobile apps and websites for retail and institutional brokerages other financials, from S&P Global. The combined platform will include markets applications and client and advisor applications, with Wise serving as chairman and CEO.

Nakashian spent the last seven years at InvestCloud, where she helped grow the technology platform to over $6 trillion in assets. Before that, she was chief information officer at Conifer Financial Services.

A spokeswoman for InvestCloud did not immediately respond to a request for comment ahead of publication.

In her role at Communify Fincentric, Nakasian will drive scale and operations for the firm's SaaS-based technology. This includes MIND (Market Intelligent News Discovery), a proprietary collection of intelligent applications that turn large data sets into intelligent insights that advisors can use to deepen client relationships. The company also introduced Digital Referrals, a customer-focused sharing feature. Both were launched in October.

In April 2023, the wealth technology platform InvestCloud announced a change of senior managementwith co-founder and CEO Wise leaving the company and Richard Lumb, a director on the company's board of directors, serving as interim CEO. In January, Jeffery Yabukichairman and founding partner of Motive Partners, one of InvestCloud's private equity owners, was named chairman and CEO.
