In 2022, author Malcolm Gladwell crashed workers in the distance as people “just sitting around in their pyjamas”. This includes Kevin O'Leary.
O'Leary can wear many hats – Shark Tank star, investor, entrepreneur. But he is also wearing pajama bottoms.
In an Election Day televised appearance, O'Leary stands polished in a suit jacket and tie, discussing how the weather could affect elections in the U.S. In some places, he says: “If it's bad weather that favors the Republicans ; if it's a warm, sunny day that favors the Democrats.”
But on Instagram, O'Leary offered a different look to the segment and outfit choice—red bottoms, flannel, and what appear to be pink flip flops.
“The research suggests that the weather may be the most important factor in deciding the election, more than any other polling data,” O'Leary. post captions. “It just shows how many factors are thrown into the mix and nobody knows the outcome. We'll have to wait and see.”

In the segment, O'Leary also talked about how he thinks the economy is the No. 1 issue. 1 that Americans are getting in the polls.
“The pro story for the economy is that the stock market goes up, but most people don't care when they can't afford the basics like protein, gas and housing,” he says.
But it's the pajamas that tell a story. With big companies like Amazon AND Walmart mandates workers back in the office, O'Leary has surprisingly taken a different approach. In fact, he has been a vocal proponent of remote and hybrid work schedules disagreeing with Martha Stewart in practice in 2023.
“The economy has fundamentally changed,” O'Leary said in 2023 in defense of remote work. “The problem with saying everyone has to work in an office is that you won't be able to hire the best talent.”
