Pete Hess, former CEO of Advent Software and former chief revenue officer at InvestCloud, has joined Canada-based PureFacts, a revenue management provider for wealth management firms, as president.
Hess was most recently CRO for the Americas at InvestCloud; prior to that, he spent 23 years at Advent (which was acquired by SS&C Technologies in 2015), including three years as president and CEO.
In his new role, Hess will report to PureFacts founder and CEO Robert Madej and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.
PureFacts was founded in 2010. The company recently received a majority investment from private equity firm GrowthCurve, which will be used to develop new products and accelerate the development and deployment of artificial intelligence.
Flourish integrates with Salesforce and three popular Salesforce-based CRM applications
Flourish announced an integration with the widely used Salesforce Financial Services Cloud CRM platform this week.
The integration will enable RIA firms using Salesforce and Flourish to pre-populate client information in Flourish. It also extends to three popular advisor-specific CRMs built on top of Salesforce: Practifi, Salentica Elements CRM, and XLR8 CRM.
Currently, Flourish said over 850 RIAs are using Flourish Cash, to which advisory firms can add their branding. For those unfamiliar, Flourish aims to help customers get more competitive rates for their retained money.
The Flourish platform allows advisors to showcase their firm's brand and provides marketing and compliance resources, among other features.

With the integration, thousands of advisors and planners using RightCapital can easily add data and cash balances from Max to their clients' net worth in RightCapital financial plans.
