“Brother Farm” Martin Shkreli has been ordered by a federal judge in Brooklyn to give up any copies of the Wu-Tang Clan's landmark album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. Artnet first reported.

Shkreli infamously bought the album One Existence from iconic Staten Island rappers the Wu-Tang Clan for $2 million in 2015. One of the stipulations Shkreli was bound by when he bought the album was that he could not reproduce for at least 88 yearsunder copyright law.

After Shkreli was sentenced for securities fraud in 2018the album was sold by the US government to PleasrDAO, a collective specializing in NFTs, in 2021 for $4.75 million.

PleasrDAO sued Shkreli in June after claiming he had bragged online about sending CD copies of the album to various women. The purchase agreement, however, prohibited its reproduction, which makes it an infringement – if copies exist.

According to the judgeShkreli must file a report detailing what copies were made, when and to whom, including the financial benefits and the identity of the recipients, by September, according to PleasrDAO legal counsel Steven Cooper.

However, despite Shkreli's online boasts, including a live stream where he hinted at hidden MP3 copies around the world, no tangible evidence of these mythical copies has surfaced.
