Italian Olympic gymnast Georgia Villa is going viral after photos of her holding wheels and pieces of parmesan cheese resurfaced. The 21-year-old was sponsored by Parmigiano-Reggiano from 2021 to 2022.

The photos show Villa performing gymnastic moves on the wheel, such as handstands and balance beam skills.
“Since I was a child I have always loved this wonderful product, a symbol of excellence and Italian culture, and to be able to collaborate with them from today makes me extremely proud and excited to face the challenges ahead” , she wrote in the translated caption. on Instagram.

Villa is not the only athlete that the cheese brand has worked with.

Parmigiano-Reggiano also has sponsorship deals with NBA player Nico Mannion, tennis player Jannik Sinner and Paralympic swimmer Giulia Ghiretti, according to the marketing agency. Business and Sports.
