The US presidential race is heating up following the news that Vice President Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 Presidential Election.
And while top business and technology leaders are split on their support for Harris or Republican candidate former US President Donald Trump, a billionaire says he has been contacted about the cryptocurrency.

In an interview this week with the crypto-focused publication decode“Shark Tank” star Mark Cuban said that, after being contacted by Harris' team with questions, it was a “good sign” for the future of the business if he was chosen.
“I'm getting a lot of questions from her camp about cryptos,” he told the paper. “The feedback I'm getting, but certainly not confirmed by the VP, is that it will be much more open to business, (artificial intelligence), crypto and government as a service.”
Cuban, an ardent Bitcoin owner and supporter, has accused Silicon Valley leaders who support Trump of a “Bitcoin game.”
“What will drive the price of BTC are lower tax rates and fees, which if history is any guide (and it's not always), will be inflationary,” Cuban. explained in X. “Combine this with global uncertainty regarding the geopolitical role of the US and the impact on the US dollar as a reserve currency, and you couldn't align the stars better for a BTC price acceleration.”
Harris has not officially taken a stance on crypto in the past, but President Biden's stance has traditionally been unfavorable.
