If you have invested in the AI chip maker NvidiaHow do you know when to sell?
CEO of Nvidia Jensen Huang made his first share sale of the year in June, cashing in 1.3 million shares to net $169 million, the most he's ever earned in a month. Bloomberg reported on Wednesday.
Factoring in the June sale, Huang has made nearly $1.1 billion in stock sales since January 2020. He's not done yet, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission folders indicating that he intends to continue cashing in this month.
As of June, Huang had a 3.8% stake in Nvidia, or more 934 million shares, making him the company's largest individual shareholder.

Since the start of this year, Nvidia executives and directors have sold stock worth a collective more than $700 million, according to Bloomberg.
Nvidia has seen it 3000% stock increases in the past five years, which may have elevated more than one long-term employee to “semi-retired” status based on stock grants alone.
Nvidia briefly became the most valuable company in the world THE WORLD in mid-June, with a market cap of more than $3 trillion.
However, Nvidia stock isn't always stable. Last week, stocks fell 16%, and the company lost more than $500 billion in market capitalization over three trading days. The loss was more than all market cap i Samsung OR Costco.
Nvidia's stock rebounded and its valuation, still over $3 trillion at the time of writing, is now just exceeded from Microsoft and Apple.
“The big question people have about this stock right now is just sustainability,” said Bernstein Research senior analyst Stacy Rasgon. Hill Friday. “It's just that the numbers have gotten so big, so fast, that you have to wonder, can they keep up?”
