Artificial intelligence may soon become a part of our everyday lives, but in a new interview with YouTuber Kallaway, CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg suggested that we might be thinking about the technology entirely wrong.
Zuckerberg talked about most of the big companies and their desire to build a mainstream AI, using The Google Twins or OpenAI GPT chat as examples. But for Meta, the strategy isn't to develop a central AI — the company wants to create multiple programs.
“Our overall view is that this is not the kind of thing where there should be only one of them, people want to interact with many different people and businesses, and there should be many different AIs that are created to reflect the changes in people. interests”, he explained.

Meta is focusing on building the underlying technology (called Llama) for businesses and creators so that these entities can create their own AIs to reflect the needs of their businesses and communities, Zuck explained.
He also noted that the idea of working toward an almost “omniscient” AI is giving him goosebumps, and while he's heard from other tech leaders who like the approach, he disagrees.
“I don't think AI technology is something that needs to be hoarded,” he said. “It seems to me a pretty big difference when people in the tech industry talk about building this real AI. It's almost like they think they're creating God or something, and that's not what we're doing. don't think that's the way it happens.”

Meta is currently testing a beta version of Creator AI, which allows creators, like Kallaway, to test the software and see what a simple AI built for their specific audience would look like.
