Kestra has added a team of five advisors in Zanesville, Ohio, to its Private Wealth Services division. Attain Wealth Partners joins from Merrill Lynch, where they managed $500 million in client assets.
The firm was co-founded by Shakir Kaka and David Weinberg and includes wealth advisors Bridget Tetak, Ross Weinberg, Sierra Brown and Nazneen Kaka, as well as managing partner Anissa Judd. She will use Fidelity for custody.
“When we became independent, our primary focus was to join a firm that understood our financial goals and held the highest standards of client service, allowing us to focus on what matters most – our clients,” said Kaka in a statement.
Attain Wealth Partners provides portfolio management, retirement strategies, risk management and wealth strategies for ultra high net worth individuals.
Kestra launched its Private Wealth Services division in 2010 to help Wirehouse and W-2 advisors become independent. The division provides office logistics assistance, compliance consulting support, a comprehensive platform, a transition plan and day-to-day management support. Since then, the firm has assisted more than 125 financial advisors and more than 50 offices across the country.
