The first full day of Wealth Management EDGE included conversations with Joe Duran, former basketball star Jay Williams and much, much more.
From tough questions asked during talks and panel discussions, tours and tech demos, to a mojito bar, wine tasting and pool party, the first full day of Wealth Management EDGE 2024 had a little bit of everything.
Rise Growth Partners CEO Joe Duran started today comparing national VNRs with wire centers. He was followed by John Froese, director and head of banking and wealth management at Google Cloud, who emphatically said the tech giant wasn't coming for financial advisors. However, “HE is not going to take your job,” Froese said. Someone who uses AI will.”
The day also included a talk about artificial intelligence from Jason Pereira of Woodgate Financial, discussions on impact and ESG investing and a lot to talk about organic growth.
That doesn't include the Elevate meetings and roundtables, mentor speed bumps, and more that took place throughout the day.
