And what IS the best franchise?

The answer is very simple: there is none. Its not A the best franchise. There is none the best or hottest industry. It really is that simple.

If anyone tells you otherwise, they're either lying or they don't know what the hell they're talking about.

You may be thinking, how is that possible? There must be a “best” franchise and a “hottest” industry.

Well, there isn't – and I'll explain why. There are several different pieces of information that go into the reasoning here, but first, franchise it is a highly individualized and personalized process.

What is best for you is not what is best for the other person or person. Here is the analogy I often use:

My wife's friends or family might ask her, “Why in the holy hell did you marry that bald old man?” Maybe it's a valid point, but for whatever reason, I was her person, her match. The same concept applies to franchises. Sometimes, the old bald guy really suits people best. And for the next person, the best fit will be completely different.

In other words, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
